Discovering a Triple Star System
In this mini series we take a closer look at how we can find and analyse the triple star system TIC 470710327. This system was initially identified by citizen scientists on Planet Hunters TESS, and was recently published here: https://arxiv.org/abs/2202.06964

First steps to finding a triple star system
We start this mini series off by looking at the TESS light curve and the various signals that it contains.
This is part one of three that will look at how the discovery was made from start to finish, including all the tests and follow-up observations. You can read more about the discovery in this blog post: https://blog.planethunters.org/2022/0...
